Top tips for nights away from home
Remind them they are not alone
As the NHS says, bedwetting is common, and often runs in families. It is upsetting but most children and young people will grow out of it. Keep telling your child this. This isn’t forever and they are not the only ones.
Let their teacher know
Encourage your child to tell their teacher about their problem, or you could do this yourself if they would prefer. Teachers will be able to help them if they wet the bed in a discreet way.
Stock up on bedwetting supplies
